THE PROJECT

My Photography is the business and online name for 10 year old Macy Youngman. The brief was to create a visual identity that expressed Macy's style, age, talent and professionalism. The rounded, friendly and clean logo design reflects Macy's age and fresh style, it is also used as a simple graphic that can be used as a visual anchor as well as across branded merchandise. The use of colour creates a strong visual platform that will support the main content of her website and printed materials, which is her amazing photography. Because of the high standard of image Macy produces at such a young age it was important to communicate just how young she is. The use of an image of her holding a camera injects personality into the brand and gently informs the audience of just how young she is at a glance.
